Annier Mendoza spent three years inside the contractor world — one as a subcontractor, two in residential interior remodeling — before building EverRiseLab. He saw the same pattern in every small operation: the phone rings while you're on the ladder, and by the time you call back the lead has already signed with someone faster.
Three years ago I was the contractor losing leads. One year as a subcontractor, two more in residential interior remodeling. Most days I was on a job site at 10 AM with paint on my hands when my phone rang — and by 7 PM, when I finally called back, the lead had already signed with someone who picked up faster. What I learned wasn't that I needed to work harder; I was already doing twelve-hour days. The problem was structural. Small contractors can't be in two places: on the job and in the office. Without a system, operational work eats everything — sales, follow-up, even just answering the phone becomes the thing you do at midnight, if you do it at all. I built EverRiseLab to solve the part of the problem I couldn't solve from inside the job: how do you stay on the tools and still answer every lead in under three minutes?
